Frontier as one of the best ? We have had frontier for about 9 to 10 years one of very few services available here that we are aware of. We are about 6 miles west of Franklin, NC. There are no cables or fiber optic lines out here, only satellite or DSL lines. In the beginning the service was fair but it got consistently slower. Recently we upgraded to having two DSL lines instead of just one. We are paying $76.31 per month. I just ran 3 speed test on my computer: Spectrum 7.5 download, OOKLA 8.24, Fast 9.8 and AT&T 11. We are on a wireless system and I am going to try to find someone to run an ethernet cable up into the attic and then across and down into our computer room to connect to my wife's computer and mine. We moved from South Florida after 43 yrs were we had AT&T U-verse which was great. Now I feel like we're back to Dial-up service.
